It's a sunny Saturday in early May at Kezar Stadium, a great day for a high school track-and-field meet. Athletes are limbering up; races are run; parents, friends and track junkies mingle in the stands, and some crowd around to chat with the only person who's not moving, a man in a wheelchair.
