First off, I want to say how sorry I am about the delay in posting results. Got caught by the Windows 10 upgrade. Bottom line – I love it, but it took a while. Now on to the good stuff.
What anothergreat meet this weekend.Great attendance with 37 vaulters, 11 PRs all new and even a jump-off for 1st place in the second section. You just can’t make this stuff up. Read on for all gory details about the meet, the currentchampionship standingsand for information about Meet #4 at Davis Sr. High on the 11th of August.
To start with we did something a little out of the ordinary. Instead of running thebarat 0s and 6s, we ran theitat 3s and 9s. The hope was to make conditions right for multiple PRs. Well, as you can see, it paid off. We had a YSTFC record 11 PRs.Not only did we see a lot of 3 inch PRs but we also saw four 9 inch PRs.This week’s PR medal goes toBen Peterson who cleared7’9”; a 9” PR.Join me in congratulating the vaultersbelowontheirPR performances.
