Miguel Almaguer is an Americanjournalist, working for NBC News, based in Universal City, California, at NBC News's Los Angeles bureau.^[1] He reports for all platforms of NBC News, including NBC Nightly News, Today, Dateline NBC, MSNBC, NBC Latino and The Weather Channel.

Career[edit]

Almaguer joined NBC News in April 2009^[2] after working for NBC owned and operated station WRC-TV in Washington, DC, where he had been since 2006. Before joining WRC, he worked for KCRA-TV in Sacramento, California, before that his first reporting job was at KSBW-TV in Salinas, California.

NBC News[edit]

During his career with NBC News, Almaguer has reported on a wide range of topics including many wildfires in California, Idaho and Colorado, the Yarnell Hill Fire that killed 19 firefighters near Yarnell, Arizona, the deadly 2013 Colorado floods, the May 2014 San Diego County wildfires, the 2010 Haiti earthquake.^[3]
